Line of Duty Death
K9 Banner
August, 2015 - April, 2022
Colorado Forensic Canines is deeply saddened to report the line of duty death of Banner. Banner suffered a tragic accident while on a mission to search for a missing person in Colorado.
In her career, Banner passed multiple certification tests with flying colors, participated in many searches with her handler, Linda, and brought closure to numerous families. She was an excellent search dog and loved her work, bringing to it joyful enthusiasm and delicate precision. This work, however, is not without risk, and Banner paid the ultimate price. We are grateful to have known her and will always remember her.
Banner loved and was loved by Linda Meincke and Robert Repass.
